Finding Companies on the Internet, $0.75 - 1.0/Company Found
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
This is a long-term job. We have been working with freelancers to find new companies for our solar and recycling directories - https://www.enfsolar.com/ and https://www.enfrecycling.com/ and have some great freelancers producing strong results.
The payment is $ 0.75 - 1.0 / company, depending on the company type. We already collected over 75 000 companies, but there are many thousands of companies to still be found, and each year many thousands of new companies join the industry (and many thousands become bankrupt making way for further new companies).
Some researchers have since dropped out after getting a full-time job etc. which means although we still have a few great researchers working on this task sending good new lists each week, our internal research team who process the companies isn't getting a fast enough flow of new companies to keep them busy. So we welcome some new researchers to this task.
All you need to do is collect the company's Name and Website Address - and make sure we didn't collect it already.
For this test job we suggest collecting solar PV panels installers. It is the easiest type to collect. You can collect other solar company types but they have to match the categories on our website (and easier to make mistakes with the other categories).
If submitting installers, you need to check the website to make sure the company is really a solar installer - eg. they put solar photovoltaic panels (those which generate electric energy) up onto homeowner's roofs or do larger scale installation of solar power plants.
The companies can be from any country in the world, and their websites can be in any language. Generally you will need to search very local areas and try keywords in that language as the most common big lists out there will have been covered already.
To check is the company already listed on our website, you can either use Company Directory search bar on the left side of the homepage or use Google's website search function by typing site:www.enfsolar.com company name to Google search bar.
Valid company = Not on ENF websites already. Belongs to our categories.
Solar installer = solar panels that make electricity. We don't want solar thermal (hot water) focused companies (if they do both that's fine, just need to make sure they cover normal solar panels).
