English Online Research Project: URBAN SURVIVAL / DISASTER PREP
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Hello, and thank you for your interest in my project, titled:
English Online Research Project: URBAN SURVIVAL / DISASTER PREP.
Let me explain the premise and requirements of this project. Please read carefully, as only serious bidders will be considered. I am looking to publish a short report / guide on how to prepare for a disaster — either man-made or natural.
Obviously, the need for this project stems from the recent turmoil in Ukraine. My audience would like some help and direction and guidance on exactly how to prepare for a scenario like this in their own lives.
This report will not be sensational. It will not be exaggerated. It will not fear monger. It will be a reasonable reaction and actionable response to this kind of disaster scenario.
I need your help because I am very busy at the moment on another project. You will be helping me by gathering preliminary research from the internet on this General topic and some important subtopics.
You will be helping me by providing links to excellent articles and / or writing summaries of what you learn about the topics I list below.
IMPORTANT: Just as crucial here as helping me to answer the questions that I will list... *is helping me to fill in the blanks — what needs to be considered that I am not considering? What questions do we need answered that I am not asking?*
Again, please only bid on this project if you have common sense experience witness topic, enough so that you are not haphazardly Gathering contradictive articles or articles that are not helpful or do not make sense.
The specific questions that I would like you to help me research are:
1) What are the highest rated 7 books for emergency and disaster preparation on Amazon?
2) Find me the top three websites or articles about disaster food preparation. These should include what kinds of food is the most wise to have on hand, how to store it, what kinds of quantities are needed for various sized households? What about water? How do people handle this if they are on 'city' water? What about medications? How do people handle this?
3) Specifically, what do people who live in dense Urban centers or suburbs need to know and think about and prepare for for a disaster? In particular, with regards to survive in for 3 months.
4) EXPECTATIONS. I believe most people do not know what to expect in the wake of a disaster. What will happen to the power grid? What will happen to grocery and Commercial Supplies? Will delivery services still work? What will happen to fuel supplies? Hopefully you can find websites are articles written by people who have survived crisis situations like this who can advise on what people need to expect and how they should prepare.
5) Gear and Equipment: find 3 to 5 websites that list a comprehensive detail of what people should have on hand for a disaster situation.
NOTE:
This project is only for this baseline level of research, but if you do well with this and if we communicate well and if you seem to understand the content — and of course if you are interested - ***I will be very eager to hire you to assemble this Research into a report that you will write and provide to me, so this project could very well turn into a good opportunity for you.***
Only serious proposals will be considered. If you want your proposal to be considered, please do the following:
#1) Begin your proposal with the phrase "Pat, let's Lock and Load." I ask this to protect both of us: now you know that I will not bother reading the default proposals that the first 50 people throw up without even reading this project. Meaning: if you begin your proposal with this phrase, then you have a very good chance of being hired.
#2) In your proposal, tell me why you would be a good fit for this project. Share you general research capacity/capabilities if you'd like, but it's just as important that you tell me why you would be effective at researching THIS PARTICULAR TOPIC.
Thank you so much.
Pat
