4 Databased Literature Review on Courage in Education
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
The purpose of this study is to identify, compile, and analyze academic works published between 2015 and 2025 on the topic of "courage in education." The data obtained will be used to examine how the concept of courage is addressed in the field of education and to guide future research.
Note; If you do not have access to 4 databases (Access to the WOS (Web of Science), ERIC (Education Research Information Center), ERC (Educational Research Complete), and DergiPark Academic) this project is not for you.
Scope of the Work:
1. Databases:
o WOS (Web of Science)
o ERIC (Education Research Information Center)
o ERC (Educational Research Complete)
o DergiPark Academic
2. Search Terms:
o "courage in education"
o "courage" AND "education"
o "school" AND "courage"
o "teacher courage"
o "student courage"
3. Publication Date Range:
o Studies published between 2014 and 2024.
4. Data to be Collected:
o Type of Publication (Article, Book Chapter, Book, etc.)
o Authors
o Article Title
o Abstract (English)
o Abstract (Turkish)
o Journal Name
o Publication Year
o Page and Volume Number
o DOI Link
5. Overlapping Results:
o Overlapping results from different databases will be noted and listed.
6. Summary Marking:
o If the study took place in a school environment (from kindergarten to university), it will be marked (information in the abstract is sufficient).
Methodology:
1. Data Collection:
o Relevant studies will be searched in the specified databases using the search terms.
o The results will be transferred to an Excel spreadsheet.
2. Excel Spreadsheet Structure:
o Main Tab: All results in their raw form will be included.
o Other Tabs: Results will be listed separately for each keyword and each database. There will be a total of 4 tabs:
1. All Results (Raw Data)
2. "courage in education"
3. "courage" AND "education"
4. "school" AND "courage"
5. "teacher courage"
6. "student courage"
Delivery Format:
• All results will be delivered in a single Excel file.
• The Excel file will be organized according to the specified tab structure.
No draft, no manuscript, just excel file.
