Cultural Research Specialist in China
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am seeking a seasoned researcher with a strong footing in Chinese regional studies and cultural studies in particular. The ideal candidate should be a native Chinese speaker with a solid history of conducting comprehensive research. This role entails:
- Analyzing national-level regional data
- Compiling detailed reports
- Presenting findings in an accessible manner
This project presents a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about exploring and understanding Chinese culture and society. I will give preference to candidates who have lived and/or worked in China and have experience with Chinese universities.
Your main focus will be:
- Conducting in-depth cultural studies across various regions in China
In terms of data sources, you should prioritize:
- Government publications
- Academic journals
- Local news outlets
- All open source tools available
A proven track record of using these sources effectively is critical. A strong background in economic and political analysis may also be beneficial, but the primary focus of this project is cultural studies. If you believe you meet these criteria, I look forward to hearing from you.
