Creative Pitch Writer for Podcast Bookings
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Summary
About Us: We help subject-matter experts win the right podcast interviews and speaking slots—not with spam blasts, but with strategic, relationship-driven outreach that converts. Our clients span creative entrepreneurship, corporate, nonprofit, wellness/mental health, medical, finance, education, and more.
We're looking for a thoughtful, creative, persuasive pitch writer who can understand a client’s unique value, research a show/conference quickly, and craft compelling, tailored pitches that make hosts and organizers say, “Yes—let’s book them.”
You will:
Turn client materials (one-sheets, talk angles, clips) into irresistible, tailored pitches for podcasts, events, and conferences.
Write outreach emails + succinct subject lines that get opened and answered.
Adapt voice/tone per client while maintaining clarity and credibility.
Scan event/podcast pages to extract what the audience cares about and align our angle accordingly.
Create brief talking points and one-paragraph topic synopses for submission forms.
Track pitches, responses, and status in our system (we use Google Workspace + simple CRMs/Sheets).
Iterate based on feedback and performance data to improve reply and booking rates.
Success looks like:
Consistent reply rates from targeted outreach.
Clear yes/no outcomes faster (no vague threads).
A steady drumbeat of confirmed bookings.
Must-have skills:
Exceptional English writing and editing (C2-level fluency).
Precision research + the ability to position a client as a fit for each outlet.
Storytelling that’s concrete, benefit-driven, and zero fluff.
Detail obsession (correct names, segments, guidelines, deadlines).
Comfort working async with a distributed team; proactive communication.
Nice-to-haves:
PR/media outreach or conference programming experience.
Familiarity with B2B audiences, founders, and technical subjects.
Experience writing for conversion (clear CTA, next steps).
How we work (global-friendly):
Fully remote, flexible hours; we collaborate primarily in US Eastern working windows, but welcome applicants worldwide.
Clear briefs, fast feedback loops, and respectful deadlines.
Relationship-first outreach (no mass copy/paste, no spray-and-pray).
Engagement & compensation:
Ongoing contract; start part-time with the option to scale.
Open to hourly or per-deliverable (e.g., pitch packets, monthly outreach blocks).
Please share your desired rate and typical capacity (pitches per week).
To Apply (read carefully) Please start your cover letter with “STS” (so we know you read the post). Include:
- Two pitch samples. If under NDA, rewrite anonymized versions.
- A quick note on your research process (how you qualify a podcast/event in ~10 minutes).
- Your rate, weekly capacity, and your typical reply/booking wins (if you can share).
- Your timezone and overlapping hours with US/Eastern.
