About Surplus Seekers: We ethically identify and help former property owners in Florida recover surplus funds from property sales. We provide non-legal assistance and connect owners with qualified attorneys. Compliance and ethical communication are paramount.
The Role: We are seeking diligent and articulate Out-of-Country Virtual Assistants to contact former property owners by phone using provided leads. Your core task is to call, inform them about the potential surplus based on public records, explain our service, schedule a follow-up meeting (or call), and introduce a basic intake form. You will then hand off the interested lead to our internal team. This role is focused purely on outreach and initial qualification; no research or lead generation required from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Making outbound calls to a daily list of provided leads.
Using strict, approved scripts to inform owners about potential surplus funds (citing public record source).
Clearly and concisely explaining Surplus Seekers' non-legal service.
Addressing basic questions and objections by redirecting legal inquiries to the eventual attorney conversation.
Scheduling follow-up meetings/calls for interested owners.
Briefly introducing and explaining how the owner will receive a basic intake form.
Accurately updating lead status and conversation notes in our tracking system (Discord) following the defined workflow.
ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL: Adhering to all compliance protocols and NEVER providing legal advice or making guarantees.
Requirements:
Exceptional verbal communication skills with a professional and empathetic demeanor.
Minimal accent and clear, easily understandable English pronunciation (crucial for connecting with owners).
Ability to read, understand, and strictly adhere to scripts.
Comfortable handling potential questions and objections while staying within compliance boundaries.
Reliable internet connection, computer, and headset.
Disciplined in tracking work and following workflow steps (using Discord).
Previous remote calling or customer interaction experience is a plus.
Mandatory completion of our rigorous compliance and UPL avoidance training is required before making calls.
