Bread Sensory Testing Study
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m running a consumer-led sensory test on several bread products and need a researcher who can take the project from survey design through to a clear, insight-driven report.
The evaluation must focus on these attributes: taste, softness and texture, and it should also capture aroma, freshness and appearance. In addition to rating the products, participants have to indicate their overall preference, say how the “brown bread” and “high fibre” claims shape their perception of health, and note whether the packaging sways their expectations.
Here is how I see the work unfolding:
• Design a concise self-completion questionnaire that measures all six sensory cues plus the three feedback areas (overall preference, perception of health claims, packaging influence).
• Recruit or source a balanced sample of everyday bread buyers, guide them through at-home testing, and collect responses digitally.
• Analyse the data to pinpoint which attributes drive liking, purchase intent and potential repeat consumption.
• Compare the two core variants (brown bread vs. high fibre) and flag any gaps between expectation and actual sensory experience.
• Deliver a report with tables, charts and a short executive summary that I can share internally.
I’ll supply the product list, packaging visuals and any claim wording; you bring the research tools, statistical know-how and a sharp eye for actionable insights. If you have run FMCG sensory work before—especially bread or bakery—let me know; it will help us move quickly.
