Body-Cam FOIA Video Retrieval
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am looking for U.S.-based FOIA / public records researchers who have experience obtaining police-related video and audio records.
I am producing edited documentary-style YouTube videos about real criminal cases and police-related incidents.
I am interested in purchasing previously obtained public records footage, such as:
- Police bodycam footage
- Dashcam footage
- 911 call audio
- Dispatch audio
- Interrogation videos
- Arrest footage
- Incident-related official records
If you already have a spreadsheet or list of previously obtained FOIA / public records footage, I would like to review it first.
Ideally, the list should include:
- Case title
- State / city
- Police agency
- Date of incident
- Type of footage
- Video length
- File format
- Whether the footage is redacted
- Any usage restrictions
- Price per file
My current budget is $10 per selected video file.
I would like to purchase only the files I choose after reviewing the spreadsheet or list.
Please also let me know whether the footage can be used in edited documentary videos for YouTube, and whether there are any credit requirements, copyright concerns, or usage restrictions.
Important:
I am only interested in legally obtained public records or officially released materials. I am not looking for private, leaked, hacked, or illegally obtained footage.
If you have experience with FOIA, public records requests, police records, court records, or investigative research, please apply and briefly describe your experience.
Thank you.
