Behavioral health research for residential services
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am the newly installed manager of residential treatment services at a hospital in the Midwest. I have been assigned the duty of overhauling the residential program. I will be focused on three areas of program development to include:
1) current innovative and best practices/programming models. (Horticultural therapy, music therapy, etc.
2) Brief summary of restorative practices like peace circles in residential programs, schools etc I'd like to make the connection about how current trauma informed work/practices was birthed out of the restorative justice movement
3) Environmental upgrades like trauma informed comfort/sensory rooms with innovative ideas for design, ideal paint colors for a residential unit, etc.
I would like to take this report and eventually create a brochure for the leadership team that proposes a few recommendations based on the research.
