Aviation Public Records Research Assistant
Budget: $100 – $150 CAD
I’m seeking a detail-oriented individual, preferably based in India, to assist with a specific aviation research task. The main goal is to identify the current owner of a registered business aircraft using public records maintained by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), India.
Once the owner is identified, I would need you to request and obtain copies (scans/photos) of the Journey Logbook pages covering the period from April 2010 to May 2011. These logs typically include information such as crew names, dates, routes, and destinations. These documents are part of public records but may require persistent follow-ups with the responsible offices or individuals.
Scope of Work:
Research & Identify Owner:
- Use DGCA's public database and other relevant public Indian aviation resources.
- Confirm the current registered owner of an aircraft
Request Journey Log Pages:
- Locate the party (owner/operator/maintenance agency) currently holding the journey logbook.
- Submit a formal request (or assist in doing so) for pages between April 2010 and May 2011.
Deliverables:
Clear, legible scans or photographs of the requested Journey Log pages.
This project will be considered successfully completed only when photos or scans of the logbook pages from April 2010 to May 2011 are delivered.
