I'm seeking someone in Paris France to physically go into the National Museum Archives and look through boxes and obtain the registered file for a painting I seek.

This is for a painting that was completed on November 16th 1861 and is believed to have been registered in November 1861.

The painting registered file number is B861 XX C11 meaning the painting should be located in Box 861 in the X series representing the location which is the National Museum Archives in the Xposition the type of file that is being sought registered in 1861 and once that box is obtained the file should be in C Carton number 11.

The National Museum Archives also has their own reference number which is believed to be 2015/0042/138
Can also check references ending with 136 to 139. The file is believed to be in the reference number ending 138.

The registered file being sought will be the file for this painting registered by the artist showing that they recorded this painting himself with the French Government when they were alive making it known that they created and registered that particular painting.

I have already confirmed with the staff at the National Museum Archives in Paris that they have this file and it is not digitalize.

Your mission should you accept is to:
• Locate and obtain a copy of the original registration file submitted to the French Government on this painting submitted by the artist believe to have been registered in November 1861.

The document must be returned as a high-resolution digital scan—in colour, including covers, and include type written notes if any. Once obtained I will have the documents sent to me in the mail or electronically.

Please follow archive rules for handling and reproduction, pay any on-the-spot fees, and they will be reimbursed, and organise a return appointment if retrieval delays occur.
