Ancient India Cultural Documentary

I’m developing a documentary film that immerses viewers in the history and culture of Ancient India—from the Indus-Sarasvati civilisation through the late Vedic era. I already have a broad outline of key events, philosophies, artistic traditions and scientific milestones, but I need a specialist who can transform this outline into a compelling, visually driven narrative.

Your role will be to handle end-to-end documentary development: deep-dive research from credible academic sources, a tight script with engaging voice-over cues, and a scene-by-scene treatment suggesting archival images, maps, on-location shots or motion-graphics that illustrate complex ideas clearly. If you can secure or recommend public-domain footage, even better; otherwise please flag any licensing requirements.

Deliverables
• Annotated research dossier citing primary and secondary sources
• 25–30 minute screenplay formatted for documentary pacing, including narration, interview questions and lower-third text
• Visual treatment deck (storyboard or shot list) specifying imagery, colour palette and suggested music cues

I value historical accuracy as much as cinematic storytelling, so I’ll review each milestone for factual integrity, narrative flow and visual feasibility before sign-off.
