The ongoing project consists of a management report that will either support or reject the importance of Corporate DIplomacy in the MNC of your choice. As and when we progress in the class, your task will be to commence to complete the different sections of the Management report. As you are all aware, Management Reports aim at informing managers of different aspects of the business, to help them make better-informed decisions, in this case, better informed decisions by incorporating corporate diplomacy into the organization at a strategic-decision making level.
The finalized management report will have the following structure:
Executive summary (last task)
Company overview
Global industry review
Industry review at national level (to be discussed as country/nations need to be defined)
Corporate Diplomacy. Ethics & power (Questionnaire)
Long term project(s) & potential risks (political/geopolitical, social, environmental, etc)
Situate
Corporate diplomacy dept within the organizational structure
- reporting line; Decision making process. Engagement with functional departments
-reinforcement of values, role of stakeholders in decision making process
Stakeholder
mapping & stakeholder analysis
Communication & Crisis communication. (Internal and external stakeholders)
-reinforcement of trust and reputation

As to the MNC that you need to choose, I suggest that you look into listed companies as you will have access to the Annual reports and names of individuals within higher management that you can contact for additional information. As to industries, I recommend, but am not limiting you to, the following since they are industries that either have or are in need of a Corporate Diplomacy department, Institutional Director, Corporate Ambassador, and what is more, their stakeholders have been clearly identified:
