I need a essays typed
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Next week and next the objective is to complete a second critical essay (critical analysis) for the one of the other stories, not TMDG.
Go back to the study worksheet and choose one of the sections (terms) from the worksheet. For instance, conflict, symbolism, or irony etc. You will be choosing one section and one term of the worksheet and develop it into an essay supported with examples from the story, both paraphrases and direct quotations. So if you choose irony, make sure you can think of three ironies for that particular story.
Remember all the things you read in the CA#1 Intro questions. You will be writing in third person, active voice. Refer again to pages 455-466 in Writing Matters.
The only difference is that you will have one entry on the Works Cited page. I will post the citation information for your Works Cited.
Only one source (your story) will be used in the critical analysis. This is called a primary source. You will NOT use secondary sources from the web or the library. You must read through this chapter to have an understanding of what a critical essay is.
Please do not be tempted to take essays from other students or the Internet. You will turn in your essay through [login to view URL] (a plagiarism detector), and if someone else has turned in this essay or parts of your essay, you will be given a zero (0) on the assignment and be turned in to the academic dean. Please see your syllabus for more information on plagiarism.
Before submitting your essay, please submit your outline for the paper in the text box of that assignment.
This is a learning experience, and I want you to attempt this, not cheat; after you decide what you are writing about, type your outline in the assignment box so that I can type suggestions on your outline. I will check it quickly to make sure you are going in the right direction. Use roman numerals and sub categories like the outline on pages 267-269 in Writing Matters. I will check these several times a day so that I can get back to you quickly. You should do this in time to think about it (probably by Wednesday), and I will not be checking outlines on the Sunday of the day the essay is due. This is a MAJOR grade and will take several days to work on this.
Make sure to do the other assignments for the week before submitting this.
Possible topics:
three reasons a setting is perfect
types of irony in the story
good imagery in the story
a character and how that character is dynamic
a character and how that character is static
comparison/contrast of a dynamic and static character
one of your own with teacher approval
"The Cask" --the revenge is perfect
"The Cask" ---the revenge is not perfect
The final essay should be a minimum of 500 words; you should have a Works Cited page. You should have a minimum of five (5) quotes throughout the paper. Some may be phrases while others might be complete sentences.
I am attaching a handout to show you how to include quotes without "dropping" or "dumping" them into the paper.
