The aim is to use the COVAX project to evaluate the extent of cooperation between the private and public sector to address a common malaise. What are the trigger points that can influence a desire for return on investment to accommodate charitable cause that has a potential for loss of profitability?

The COVAX project in certain perspectives is entirely charitable but the research will evaluate this hypothesis and adduce a position on it.

The research will include a review of the international community engagement in the actualization of the COVAX deal, with a view to reinforcing the relevance or not of governments to successful international business.

International business cooperation with charitable causes is expected to have clauses that will secure the long-term interest of the investors. This project will evaluate what the clauses are and determine what thresholds businesses are comfortable to cross and extrapolate these to other public malaises that require global cooperation between public and private sector to influence current statuses and dynamics. The research will explore the COVAX supply chain participation by the international business to evaluate the relevance of exposure to risk in the level of commitment to the supply objective. Additionally, I will look to explore, identify, and measure supply chain as a key component of the end to end process of getting products from source to destination. The uniqueness of the product and its impact on mode of transportation and storage will significantly impact on the cost outlay and eventual success of the COVAX program. This project will aim to empirically determine the extent of the tradeoffs between the key participating stakeholders that will enable the collaboration capable of supporting a successful implementation.
