Budget: $10 – $30 USD
1) Watch Tomorrow, a film directed by Dion, Cyril and Laurent, Mélanie 2015. According to the filmmakers and producers “Tomorrow is not just a film, it is the beginning of a movement seeking to encourage local communities around the world to change the way they live for the sake of our planet.”
2) After watching the film, write a five-page response (12-point font-Times New Roman, double-spaced) taking into account the following questions:
-What aspects of the film did you find more relevant/interesting? Why?
-How can you relate each one of the chapters developed in the film (food, energy, finance, democracy, and education) to the topics we have read about and discussed in class (economic globalization, political globalization, cultural globalization, health, food, security, the environment, etc.)? Be sure to present and develop your arguments and not just mention possible connections. Be sure to cite the chapter, article, VoiceThread, video, etc.
Suggestions to write a good paper:
Given the page limitations, it is better for you to go straight to the point rather than devoting space to long introductions, descriptions, quotations or definitions. The purpose of the paper is to reflect and find connections with the course material (readings, videos, discussions, VoiceThreads, etc.).
Be sure to demonstrate that you watched the entire film and not just a portion of it.
