finance research: To what extent does gender diversity relate to the success rate of M&As, and to what extent is this relationship moderated by ethnicity?
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I'm seeking a finance researcher for a paper examining the relationship between gender diversity and the success rate of mergers and acquisitions (M&As), with an additional focus on how ethnicity may moderate this relationship. Ethnicity is still flexible; if academic articles show one, that's better.
Key areas of focus:
- Evaluating the extent of gender diversity's impact on M&A success.
- Investigating the role of ethnicity as a potential moderator.
- Considering the possibility of other moderators influencing this relationship.
Data Sources: The primary data source for this research will be academic journals, specifically those that provide case studies, empirical data, and theoretical frameworks on M&As and gender diversity and the moderator.
Methodology: The research will adopt a quantitative analysis approach. This involves collecting numerical data and applying statistical techniques to identify patterns, correlations, and causal relationships (STATA). This is for later on. For now, only the introduction, literature review, and method & data.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in finance and understanding of M&A processes
- Strong background in quantitative research methodologies
- Familiarity with academic journals and able to identify relevant studies and data
- Experience in writing and structuring finance research papers
- Understanding of gender diversity and ethnicity in corporate contexts is a plus.
I would like to discuss additional details with the person who accepts this business project.
deadline: 1 September
