Individual writer is better, I dont really like middleman, because each time when there is emergency or some issues, middleman can always get others to take responsibility! I need you to take full responsibility for each work I give you! Unless you have teams like inhouse writers, who you can reach and get ready in every moment. For example, sometimes I met middleman, who take my works, and did not provide my work based on fixed deadline. He told me that the writer has a car accident, or his parents die on the deadline before the work's deadline. I want THE person who I assigned my work to to take the responsibility, not others I dont know!
Also, quality is a must! I myself hold business degrees both BA and MSc from top universities, I can tell the quality. and I dont take projects that I dont understand like technical, computing, engineering etc. I mostly take business related like marketing, management, economics accounting, social science, communication etc.
