Yemen Electricity Sector Research
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I'm looking for an expert with knowledge of the electricity system in Yemen and ideally high level contacts within the sector. Knowledge of both IRG and DNA areas would be helpful.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of the PEC power system and ability to research its current status
- Ability to access financial information on PEC past performance
- Awareness of the private sector generators supplying PEC and ability to research their current activity and status
- Awareness of the industries that self generate and ability to research their current activity and status
- Ability to research the private sector operators of parts of the PEC distribution network in Sana'a and the status of their operations
- Understanding of water and waste water provision in cities, towns and villages
The research will contribute to an early stage report on post-conflict infrastructure financing
Please note, there may be opportunities for further research projects based on the outcome of this initial work.
