Writing a community management strategy for my project

Job ID: 37466267

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

"Educ'Pat" is a project that aims to create a network of professionals and a community of practice for the benefit of the African and European heritage and museum ecosystem. It is a collaborative and inclusive tool, open to the expertise and contributions of all. It offers a training programme on Heritage and Museums in Africa. Serving those involved in heritage, their projects and current affairs, it aims to facilitate networking, exchanges, information sharing and project initiation. It is therefore a network that will continue over time (beyond the training course) to produce and share knowledge and solutions for their territories.
To set up this network, we need..:
- a strategy for designing and structuring an active network of professionals/community of participants that will continue after the training course is over;
- Designing and deploying a methodology for running the participants' community over the long term (throughout 2024), including using digital tools and at a pace to be defined with the course partners; in order to nurture the community, involve the participants in sharing knowledge, know-how and ideas, create a collective and demonstrate the added value of the network.

I'm looking for a specialist who will be responsible for developing an overall community management strategy for this network throughout 2024 (defining common objectives for the members of the network (e.g. cultivating links, sharing best practice, helping each other, encouraging meetings, etc.); and building an action plan to achieve these objectives.
The aim will be to draw up a roadmap based on the various phases of the training programme, and on the tools, to include activities (e.g. workshops, webinars, etc.) or methods that will gradually provide the elements needed to build a collective dynamic.
We therefore need a plan of action and activities to run the community throughout 2024, which will address the following points:
- Design and run workshops for the network (e.g. training, virtual meetings);
- Programme activities to keep the network alive by raising participants' awareness of the community of practice approach.
- Create, share, post and regularly promote high-quality, inspirational and educational content, etc.
- Encourage sharing and collaboration based on what he/she observes/hears - online and face-to-face;
- Carry out a sector watch to enrich the network;
- Carry out actions to promote members, both internally (from the community to the community) and externally (from the community to the outside world).
- Formulate recommendations (i) to ensure the network's long-term survival and (ii) to redeploy a similar approach as part of a new edition of the training programme.

I will therefore need a general document consisting of 2 parts:
- Part 1 "community": a strategy (framing) and an action plan (roadmap) to support the structuring of the community of practice.
- Part 2: "Animation": a strategy (framing) and a programme of activities to animate the community over the long term.
