US Tariff Policy Research Consultant
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Summary
We are seeking a part time highly motivated and analytical US Tariff Policy Researcher – Consultant to support strategic policy analysis, research, and advisory work related to U.S. tariff regulations, customs law, and trade policy. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in political science, international trade, or public policy who have experience working with policy documents and a deep understanding of U.S. government operations, particularly regarding trade policy and tariff laws.
Location : USA PREFERABLY
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and Analyze U.S. Domestic Tariff Policies and draft impact assessment reports
- Tariff and Trade Policy Research.
- Analyze global trade and study U. S customs and USTR regulations and laws.
- Contribute to Trade and International Relations Projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in political science, International Relations, Economics, or a related field.
-Equivalent experience in trade policy research or consultancy will also be considered.
-Demonstrated ability to work with U.S. policy documents (e.g., White House briefings, Congressional acts, regulatory filings related to trade and tariffs).
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex trade and tariff data into clear and actionable reports.
-In-depth knowledge of U.S. customs regulations, tariff schedules, and the broader international trade framework.
Bonus Qualifications
-Experience working with U.S. think tanks, government agencies, international organizations, or multinational corporations.
-Familiarity with trade modeling tools, databases, and policy simulation software is a plus
