Sri Lankan Academic Researcher in Political Science
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
Looking for a qualified SRI LANKA research to work in field of governance in Colombo.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in political science, human rights, governance, education, sociology, development studies, or other related discipline
- Preferred: master's degree
- Minimum 5 years' work experience as a social science researcher in the field(s) of education, democracy, human rights, community development
- Fluent in written and spoken English as well as Sinhala
- Tamil also preferred but not required
- Prior experience 3+ years working with civil society organizations [i.e. CSOs] in related field
- Preferred: prior experience working with CSOs in the field of governance, or policy making, or human rights, or any other related field
- Good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness and ability to perform to a high standard and to self-manage well
