Within this powerpoint, you will:
identify the primary theorist(s) and provide a brief biography,
discuss the sociological perspective of your choice
explain the relationship with sociology.
Choose one (1) perspective from the following list.
Positivism (Comte)
Structural Functionalism (Durkheim)
Conflict/Marxism (Marx)
Symbolic interactionism (Weber, Mead)
The presentation will be minimum 12 slides long not including title slide or reference slide. Remember to use speaker notes. Keep the slide simple by adding graphics/pictures.
Please remember to post the powerpoint in .ppt or .pptx If you post in any other format (slides/pages), I will not be able to open or read the speaker notes. This will lower your grade.
Common issues:
missing introduction/conclusion
missing speaker notes
too much words on the slides. Don't erase words simply move them to the speaker notes. Slides should be simple. No use of graphics/photos. Slide count. You will have more this time around as you modify your presentation to include the appropriate information.
Please check your reference slide for APA formatting. I did not grade harshly on APA formatting. This time, please be sure to place information in APA format. If you did not cite, you need to go back to those resources and provide citation on the end slide.
