Research and writing for an academic journal startup

I'm an American student in economics and sociology, and in the course of my studies I've noticed several topics that don't have enough publicly available research to answer important questions. I'm interested in hiring assistant researchers and writers in areas like the US healthcare system, economic market failures, renewable energy, US politics, and international relations.

I believe publishing information in these areas represents an opportunity to advance academia and create a brand. However, since there is currently a lack of sources research will be particularly challenging. As a college student the budget is limited, but it would be a great opportunity to get experience.
