Research Paper:
You will conduct research on a professional soccer club from Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, or North America. The team must be a club team (Arsenal, Juventus, Manchester United, Boca Juniors, Keizer Chiefs, Toronto FC), not a national team (Italy, England, Brazil)
Your paper must be 4-6 pages in length (Title Page and Works Cited page do not count)
You must use a minimum of 5 appropriate sources (Wikipedia is not an appropriate source)
Please use Times New Roman (type font 12) Double Spaced, Black Ink.
Things to keep in mind when researching the team:
- Historical context of the club, when and where it began, how it started, and talk briefly about the founders, etc.
- Historical events that have helped shape the club. historical timeline, biggest transfer in club history, stadium they play out of, and any other information you deem to be relevant
- Speak briefly about championships and tournaments that they have won.
-Discuss people of significance within the club from the past and present. coaches, players, owners.
-Discuss if the club has any political or religious affiliation
- Discuss how the club impacts the City/Country that they play in.
- Discuss any other information that makes your club unique.
