Report for Getting Started with Bitcoin Mining -- 2
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Objective: To produce a detailed report that provides information on components required to start bitcoin mining in the US, including the mining rig(s), mining pool, and mining software.
Scope:
- To compare and contrast popular ASIC miners such as Antminer, DragonMint, Bitmain, and any others for the specified price range and recommend the best option (optimized for hashrate value, hardware availability, and hardware reliability & longevity) for mining in the US.
- I’ll provide the price range after awarding the project.
- To evaluate mining pools such as F2Pool, Antpool, Slush Pool, and others you show that are of value and recommend the best option based on features and performance.
- To compare popular mining software such as BFGminer, CGMiner, EasyMiner, and others, and recommend the best option for communication with the selected mining rig and pool.
Deliverables:
- A detailed report that includes information on mining rigs you researched and which one you select, including its cost, hashrate, current availability, and suitability for use in the US with standard 110V household electrical outlets.
- The report includes information on the mining pools you researched and the one you recommend, including its fees, reliability, and security.
- The report also includes information on the mining software you researched and which one you recommend, including its compatibility with the selected mining rig and pool, ease of use, and performance.
Project Timeframe:
- Research and report writing: 10 business days.
- Rig delivery: 7-30 business days after report delivery.
Payments:
- First payment is 25% of the price of the project delivered when the project is awarded.
- Second payment is 50% of the price of the project delivered when the detailed report is received by me.
- The final 25% payment of the project is linked to the successful delivery to us of the recommended working mining rig(s). This is to ensure that the components suggested in the report can be acquired in a reasonable amount of time as specified in the deliverables.
Note: The final report should be concise and easy to understand. Delivered as a MS Word document. The recommendations should be based on the latest available information, and the report should clearly state the reasoning behind each recommendation.
