Proposal paper *NURSING / HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Paper goals: Propose something that would benefit you if and when you enter your intended career. For example, if you hope to be a nurse one day, perhaps propose better hours or specific training for nurses.
* I am a nurse so I was thinking of Proposing a policy for better nursing hours (three 12hr shift instead of five 8hr shifts) to aid in better patient care. APA format. 5 scholarly sources needed.
Contents-- include the following:
Placed before the proposal body:
A title page ( in APA format)
Finalized Abstract
Cover Letter in proper letter format (I have the cover letter taken care of)
Table of contents with headings and page numbers
Proposal Body:
An introduction or overview giving any necessary background information.
Problems:
What is wrong with the status quo? Why?
If you do not prove there is a problem, your audience will have no incentive to consider your solution. Plenty of research and evidence will go in this section.
Solutions. Consider:
What you are proposing
Budget—how much will it cost? Where will the money go? Why?
Timeline—How long will it take? When will it start?
Implementation—how will it work? Who will do what?
SPECIFICS!
Etc. (not a comprehensive list)
Refutation
Who would disagree? What points do or would they make?
Why are they wrong?
This section is optional. If this is not a separate section, address the refutation in the solutions section.
Benefits
Who benefits, why?
How do they benefit?
Conclusion
