I need a 4-page persuasive essay, MLA Format. It needs to include citations and the topic needs to be about Transgender people playing sports. The thesis statement created is, "Transgender people should only be allowed to participate in sports with those who align with their biological genders because of risk of injuries, unfair advantages, and mental health challenges amongst the participants."
concession paragraph is,
"Transgender people should not be allowed to mix in with the gender they choose to identify with during sports. Those who oppose this idea believe that Transgender people can practice biological diversity. In some cases, they even claim those who believe otherwise are “transphobic” because there can be biological differences in cis genders, such as height or speed. (The Inclusion) Not only do they believe its transphobic to deny their right to play, but they also feel they are being stripped of their rights. Transgender people and groups feel that there are already major differences between each player of a team or sport that their own abilities compared to cis genders are no less different. Another belief amongst some people is that the accusation-based testing that would be used to check whether someone is trans or not would endanger all participants, cis or trans. (The Inclusion)"
