You will notice (on the left) there are NPSGs for various different environments (settings) of healthcare. Be sure to familiarize yourself with all of these. Your paper should include the following:
Title page
What are NPSGs?
The Purpose of NPSGs (what are they used for)?
Who Establishes NPSGs? (be sure to discuss some background)
How Do Accrediting Agencies Use NPSGs?
How are Healthcare Organizations/Facilities Accredited and the Importance of NPSGs in the Accreditation Process?
Choose 3 NPSGs and discuss the importance of each in the care of your patients, why adhering to them is important, and what complications may ensue if they are not followed?
Reference page
The paper should be 3-5 pages, in APA 7 format, double-spaced, and 11-point Calibri, 11-point Arial, 10-point Lucida Sans Unicode, or 12-point Times New Roman font.
