Blackthumb Community Group (BTCG) is seeking a talented writer to take on a dynamic technical writing project for a non-profit organization!
What to expect:
The writer will work with the founder of BTCG on the drafting and editing of professional documents. It is expected that the successful candidate should be able and available to complete writing assignments independently and in a timely manner.
Work duties to be expected:
Write various reports: analytics, business, development, financial, and research.
Draft compelling, well-articulated documents for project proposals, business proposals, grant applications, and newsletter releases.
Create captivating written content for websites.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Is familiar in working with nonprofit organizations
Has an understanding of small business, community, and project planning & development
Feels comfortable conducting research independently without guidance
Excels in professional and technical writing
Is passionate about making a positive impact in Canadian communities
The ability to read and write in French is considered an asset.
