I NEED A POLITICS/ECONOMICS WRITER TO REWRITE MY MANUSCRIPT
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
Summary of my needs:
1. Wrote a book on Africa's economic development issues, problems and solutions but just as I was completing it
I suffered a stroke, then put it on hold for several years that it took me to recover fully.
2. But then when I restarted, a lot had changed and I had also revised some of my thinking. So, I had to edit and update the content but realised while I had refined my thinking, I had list my energy to complete it the way I want to see it.
3. In the midst of all this, I realised that while I know exactly what I want to say, I just can no longer put it in an orderly manner to give it the professional flow, the focus and the clarity that I want.
4. I need someone to rewrite the whole content for me chapter by chapter while I give them the subject, the analysis and my thoughts and recomendations on the issues that I want to present to my audience. Basically I need someone to put my thoughts into writing, and it requires someone with an expert knowledge of African political and economic issues so that they can cross check and update information where necessary and also be able to contribute suggestions where they think I need help. My preferred approach is to work the manuscript one chapter at a time rather than give them the whole of it to work on, as I will give the basic bullet points for each chapter, the raw content and then the rewriter recasts it in a professional, well structured way. For this reason, I have not attached the manuscript, which currently has about 100,000 words that I need cut down to 60,000, as there is a lot of analytical content that I now believe is overkill that just creates unnecessary fog.
5. There are also many images and charts that need review but can be outsourced to Slideshare or others if need be, in which case they would be done separately within the same time frame.
