Mainframe Practitioners(3+ Years)

- Mainframe Practitioners(3+ years), who are immediate joiners
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Knowledge and experience with DB2/SQL, FTP, DB2 Connect
- Possess adequate amount of knowledge in promotion and deployment of routine fixed and major releases into a production environment using mainframe technology
- Awareness in Agile working model
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the environment from both a technical and process perspective
- Work with team members to establish best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk
- Handle rotational On-Call Support
- Write code and unit tests, automation, and conduct code reviews
- Interact and work closely with product manager to devise solutions and break them down into incremental production-ready user stories
- Actively participate in Daily Standups, Team Iteration Planning Meetings, Team Retrospectives, and Story Acceptance Sessions
- Identify exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges
- Provide guidance to other members on the team and the program
