Indigenous History: Challenges of North American Tribes
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
This class examines thousands of years of indigenous history. Consequently, there are several topics that one could choose to examine. For this project, you will use your assigned textbook to assist you in your task to research a specific era within North American indigenous history. This penultimate project will require that students complete an analytical report on selected primary and secondary sources, chosen by the student. Students will choose a chapter from the book and analyze the changes experienced by the indigenous peoples within that era. They will choose at least 2 primary documents from the selected chapter and research an additional primary and secondary source (1 of each) outside of the textbook. Once the material has been gathered, students will complete a written report (roughly 7-8 pages in length), following the guidelines explained in the Primary Source Project packet on Canvas to demonstrate your analysis of the sources.
