Improve or find a better way to retain the participants of the open design contest by applying the near miss theory.
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Main research question is to analyze the impact of the near-miss effect in idea competition on the attitude toward the host. It is about finding the reaction of the participants of an open idea contest when their results are close to the winning idea.
3 hypothesis have already been formulated and to defend the hypothesis first an idea contest needs to be conducted, ( a logo design competition have been designed) then the results are sent to the participants, and a feedback is expected which includes the questionnaires (Likert scales) that'll measure the hypothesis.
Work to be done: design the Likert scale hypothesis, quantitative analysis, research for relevant literature and document the report. Hypothesis will be provided and formulation of the second part of the survey and also a quantitative analysis needs to be done.
Field of study: psychology, marketing, innovation Management.
