IMPROVEMENT OF RAW MATERIAL DATABASE SYSTEM AT WAREHOUSE -- 3

PROJECT BACKGROUND
The finish goods and raw materials are placed in the warehouse. Aluminium is the most abundant raw material available in this warehouse compared to the others. The storage method of aluminium items is placed on shelves, and some are also placed on the floor due to insufficient space constraints.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The existing database is inefficient and there are many raw materials that need to be registered to facilitate warehouse management. There is some aluminium that is not filled with data and how much stock is available is not updated periodically. Aluminium items are also not well arranged, stacked a bit too closely, and not stacked according to a pre -set rack. Goods are left on the floor even after the check process from the incoming qc and get approving by the qc.
OBJECTIVES
To analyze the efficiency of warehouse operation after implementing the new database.
