Geography
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
This is the assignment page for your final project. Keep the following in mind as you develop and work on your project:
1) Your project needs to be narrowed down either to a specific sub-topic of a more general topic or to a specific location. For example, if talking about ocean plastic pollution, you may want to narrow it down to a specific solution proposal. If talking about sea-level rise, you may want to focus on the impacts and planned adaptations to sea level rise in the Bay Area, for example.
2) Your project needs to contain details and supporting evidence from reliable sources. That is, make sure to do enough in-depth research so that you can present enough details that are not "common knowledge." Also, back up your results with facts and evidence from trustworthy sources, which should be cited. For example, if talking about sea-level rise, you would want to go beyond saying "Sea-level rise is caused by the melting of polar ice sheets," as that would be considered common knowledge and a generality.
Please note that this assignment is run through Turnitin (Links to an external site.), a plagiarism detection software. Turnitin will give a score to your assignment depending on the degree of similarity to previously submitted assignments and internet content. If you get a high Turnitin score (orange or red), you should take another look at your submission to make sure that it is your own original work and resubmit it if needed. Please make sure to put any direct quotes in quotation marks and cite them within the text.
