HR Generalist for Minnesota Digital Home Care Agency

Job Description:
Minnesota Digital Home Care Agency is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to join our growing team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration. You will work closely with management to ensure a positive work environment that fosters employee engagement, development, and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Develop and implement onboarding programs to facilitate smooth integration of new employees into the organization.
Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other applicable programs.
Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and terminations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information system.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Assist with training and development initiatives, including identifying needs, developing content, and coordinating training sessions.
Support employee engagement initiatives, including organizing team-building events and promoting a positive work culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role in the healthcare or home care industry.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.
