Hi, my name is Sarah and I am a struggling college student. I would like the best help I can get.

"The persuasive speech should focus on an issue or event to which your audience can respond. You may attempt to form or change attitudes, alter beliefs, influence values, urge action, or refute a current argument. You can build on previous class presentation topics if you'd like."
My topic is extinction rates, causes, and solutions. I am using problem-cause solutions for the organization. THEREFORE, I am not convincing my audience to do something, yet I am persuading them about the problem.
The speech should be 6-9 minutes. It must include 3 verbal citations and a minimum of 5 sources (at least 3 scholarly)
Verbal Citations include: Author (who wrote it), Date (When? Year/Month), Source (Where did it come from? website, newspaper, online journal, etc.), and Credibility (if needed- what makes this source/quote credible?)
I will work on the VISUAL AID MYSELF
Below is the outline I have started thus far...
