Expert Academic Critique & Editing – Focused on Quality Culture in Higher Education
Overview
I am seeking a highly experienced academic reviewer or editor with extensive expertise in higher education, specifically in quality assurance, quality culture, and institutional development. This project involves the critique and refinement of a scholarly manuscript that analyzes and compares six major quality culture models in higher education institutions (HEIs).

Project Structure
Milestone 1 – In-Depth Academic Critique (Primary Deliverable)
You will be expected to carefully and thoroughly read the manuscript, including the six core quality culture model articles that the analysis is based on. . You must kindly understand each model in detail before commenting on how they are discussed and compared.
Your task is to offer comprehensive academic feedback, including:
Critical analysis of the comparison between models (e.g., conceptual vs operational, classification, validity of grouping, and flow)
Evaluation of whether the literature review is comprehensive, current, and well-grounded
Determining if the research gaps are clearly identified, well justified, and aligned with the study's aims
Assessment of the conceptual framework, especially how effectively it builds upon and connects to the EUA definition of quality culture
A review of the manuscript’s structure, coherence, and logical consistency
Analysis of the methodological approach (e.g., model selection criteria, analytical framework)
Identification of unclear language, redundancies, conflicting claims, or theoretical inconsistencies

This milestone is a deep critique, not editing or rewriting. I will refine the text myself after your academic evaluation.
You must read the full-text of the six core models, not just rely on the manuscript summary, to ensure accurate and critical evaluation.
Milestone 2 – Editing & Formatting (Final Polish)
Once I complete the revisions based on your critique, I will need your assistance with:
Thorough copyediting and proofreading for grammar, academic tone, clarity, and flow
Formatting according to APA 7th edition
Ensuring consistency in referencing, terminology, and structure
Requirements
Advanced academic background in higher education studies, education quality, education policy, or a closely related field
Demonstrated experience critiquing or supervising scholarly work (e.g., theses, dissertations, or academic journal articles)
Strong familiarity with models of quality culture in HEIs (especially EUA, QCI, Harvey & Stensaker, Ehlers, Bendermacher, and Dzimińska)
Expertise in APA referencing and academic formatting
Extremely detail-oriented, rigorous, and analytical
