K-12 Education Systematic Review on Multisensory Integration
Budget: £7,499 – £7,500 GBP
We are looking for a systematic research review focused on K-12 education, specifically examining Multisensory Integration and Motor Skills Development.
Waldorf Learning Foundation have opened an application window for a doctoral researcher / research team to bid for a contract to conduct a literature review and report for publication.
The successful candidate will be expected to interrogate the area and produce:
A literature review of research into the application of Multisensory Integration and Motor Skills Development (MSI & MSD) in global pedagogies (educational philosophies, policies and practices) and therapeutic models and provision, with a specific focus on relevant curricula, assessment and intervention frameworks, in relationship to the parallel disciplines of occupational health, educational psychology, neurophysiology, and sports science, and with reference to neurology and evolutionary anthropology.
Key Requirements:
- Comprehensive analysis of existing literature in the field
- Identification of trends, gaps, and opportunities for future research
- Critical evaluation of research methodologies and findings
- Presentation of findings in a clear, concise, and engaging manner
Ideal Skills:
- Strong background in education research, particularly K-12
- Expertise in Multisensory Integration and Motor Skills Development
- Expertise in global pedagogies
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Exceptional written communication skills
The applicant(s) should be educated to doctoral level, and have relevant professional and/or academic experience in either education, Educational Psychology, or Occupational Health.
The applicant(s) is expected to be attached to a University with full access to that university’s library services, and full and relevant permissions to use those services for projects other than those for which their work with the university first stipulates.
