The SPROUT Curriculum
Our SPROUT Curriculum is an activity-based program designed to develop 21st-century skills, literacy, and numeracy. With materials like skill books, DIY kits, and smart class content, it encourages hands-on, play-based learning. We are currently seeking a professional to help customize the curriculum to align with the Nurturing Early Learning (NEL) Framework by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) of Singapore.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Curriculum Customization Specialist with at least 10 years of experience in teaching, academics, and designing curriculum for Pre-Primary classes in Singapore. The specialist will be responsible for adapting our existing SPROUT Curriculum to align with the Nurturing Early Learning (NEL) Framework. The ideal candidate should have expertise in early childhood education, a strong understanding of the NEL Framework, and experience in curriculum development, customization, and designing curriculum for Pre-Primary classes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze the existing SPROUT Pre-Primary Curriculum of Bachpan.
• Customize the existing curriculum to align with the Nurturing Early Learning (NEL) Framework set by ECDA.
• Ensure that the revised curriculum meets the educational standards and developmental milestones of early childhood education in Singapore.
• Work closely with the Bachpan team to incorporate feedback and adjustments through the customization process.
• Provide suggestions and recommendations for enhancing the curriculum based on the NEL framework.
• Responsible for designing the curriculum for Nursery 1, Nursery 2, Kindergarten 1, and Kindergarten 2.
Qualifications & Academic Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching, academics, and curriculum delivery for Pre-Primary classes in Singapore.
• Proven experience in early childhood education and curriculum development.
• Strong understanding of the Nurturing Early Learning (NEL) Framework of the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).
• Experience in curriculum adaptation or customization for diverse educational standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Academic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification is generally preferred.
• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) or any equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
Desired Skills:
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Passionate about early childhood education and curriculum development.
