Analyse the QF-PCR results to evaluate the next steps for achieving a diagnosis for the genetics team. You must explain how QF-PCR works using a clear diagram, and explain how the markers analysed here have supported your decisions.
PART 2:
Evaluate the use of non-invasive prenatal testing as a diagnostic test for pathogenic variations in early pregnancy. You must consider the ethical implications of such testing in your evaluation. You can focus on one disease or a group of diseases depending on your preference.

• You must analyse the results and make a diagnosis.
• Your interpretation of the case must have reference to a multidisciplinary team
Part 2 assesses your ability to perform a critical analysis of a given topic.
Key points:
• You must give an overview of NIPT, talk about its applications and effectiveness versus other techniques, its sensitivity and specificity and also discuss ethical implications.
• Your writing should be analytical, therefore do not focus on papers individually but try to synthesise all of the information and identify overall patterns in the literature.
• Keep descriptive statements to a minimum. Give an interpretation of the facts and talk about their significance, consequences, and implications.
Use APA7 referencing style.
