ASSIST CreativeLab (ACL) is a strategic unit under ASSIST and it strives to address the communication, visibility and knowledge management needs of its development stakeholders. About the Role

We are looking for a talented freelance creative writer based out of India, who can collaborate on certain projects with our team. As a creative writer, you will be given the responsibility of creating captivating and engaging material in a wide range of genres and types. To create engaging narratives, articles, blog posts, social media content, and other written materials that are appealing to the target audience, you will collaborate with clients, editors, and other team members.

Roles and Responsibilities (Changes to projects)

Conduct research before and during the writing process.
Prepare material for assignments, which includes planning, outline, and synopsis.
Conduct thorough fact-checks before submitting any work.
Ensure the logical flow of all writing produced.
Join feedback sessions and make revisions suggested by the client, publisher or editors.

Qualifications/Skills

Bachelor’s degree in writing, communication, language, marketing, or similar. (preferred but not required)
Evidence of writing experience (links to published work would be advantageous).
Critical reading and thinking skills.
An interest in current events and a general thirst for knowledge.
Resilience and the ability to accept constructive feedback.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent eye for detail
Deadline-oriented
Time Management Skills
Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
