Comprehensive New Zealand Curriculum Research & Writing
Budget: $750 – $1,500 NZD
Description:
We are building an educational curriculum that introduces learners to New Zealand’s political, legal, and economic systems.
This role is for one capable researcher/writer to create one structured and cohesive document (or 2–3 connected modules) that touch on 36 specific topics.
Note: This is NOT 36 individual essays. You will be expected to group topics into chapters and produce a flowing, educational curriculum-style resource.
Topics to Cover (Grouped):
Foundations & History: NZ political history, Treaty of Waitangi, Constitution Act, MMP
Law & Governance: Bill of Rights, courts, justice system, how laws are made, public service
Key Legislation: RMA, Public Finance Act, Local Government Act, Education Act, etc.
Public Systems: Education, health, welfare, housing, immigration, workforce
Economy: NZ's budget process, key industries, trade agreements, investment policy
Culture & Identity: Te Reo Māori, national symbols, multiculturalism, media

Expected total length: 20,000–25,000 words
