Comprehensive Agricultural Climate Risk Assessment
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I'm seeking an experienced, climate-focused consultant who can conduct a first-pass climate risk assessment on an agricultural property for my boss. Your focus will be on the potential risks of drought and water scarcity, extreme temperatures, flooding and rainfall changes, cyclones, and bush fires. Since I'm unsure of any existing climate risk mitigation measures on the property, an analysis of whether there are any in place will also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough assessment of climate risks
- Identify any existing mitigation measures
- Suggest ways to mitigate identified risks if necessary
Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in climate change impacts, particularly on the agriculture industry
- Ability to identify and analyze long-term climate risks
- Experience in disaster management will be a strong advantage
