Clinical Pharmacology Written Assignment: OsteoArthritis
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I am a Physiotherapy Student and am currently enrolled in a unit called Clinical Pharmacology. What I was hoping to get done is an essay/report on the pharmacological basis of pharmaceutical treatments for a disease/condition relevant to your area of study, which I have chosen as Osteoarthritis.
I am looking for a structure that resembles this:
Intro:
Paragraph #1:
- briefly discuss the pathological basis of osteoarthritis, general therapeutic principles/goals identified and justified, and key pharmaceutical drug categories (briefly describe other categories used) which can be used for the management of osteoarthritis (600-800 words);
References:
Paragraph #2:
- select two (2) drugs from two separate categories and discuss their pharmacodynamic (how a drug acts on the human body) and pharmacokinetic (how the human body affects a drug) profiles (400-500 words);
References:
Paragraph #3:
- analyse the drugs in clinical use in the context of osteoarthritis: e.g. advice on taking the drugs such as adverse effects and potential interactions (especially considering that many people are taking many drugs), administration (at what time e.g. before bed, morning, with food etc., other special instructions etc.) (400-500 words);
References:
Paragraph #4:
- discuss how the pharmaceuticals should be integrated into the treatment plan of physiotherapy for the management of osteoarthritis (200-300 words).
References:
Paragraph #5:
- Therapeutic principles/goals are identified (such as reducing pain, inflammation, restoring function, restoring oxygen, minimising/treating infection etc.) and clearly justified. e.g. ”I need to relieve and prevent the occurrence of asthma to minimise further damage to the lungs.”
