Career presentation with PowerPoint.
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
This project requires you to do some research by job shadowing and interviewing people in the job you are interested in. It's easiest if you have friends or family members who are doing the job you are interested in.
2. Develop and record a 4 - 5 minute PowerPoint presentation (Approximately 5 - 15 PPT slides). You can use whatever method is easiest for you to record on (Zoom, or Power point) and turn in here. Be sure to use the "Death by Powerpoint" knowledge that you learned. If you are in the asynchronous on-line section (MKTG 3310-01) you will record and turn into Moodle.
What two careers most interest you?
What was your research? Job shadow? Interviews? On-line research? Monster.com? Indeed? LinkedIn?
What skills and experience do you currently have that are required for those two careers?
What skills do you need to develop or improve to successfully compete for the two careers?
What is your plan on how you will develop or improve your skills to become ready for the job that interests you the most?
What is your plan/strategy based on what you have learned in class and both books to get hired for your most desired career?
Be sure to include a preview and summary in your presentation.
