Our client is a well established main contractor who have a solid reputation in the construction industry.

They enjoy repeat business and are on numerous frameworks for projects with both public and private sector clients, spanning education, commercial, healthcare, and residential schemes.

They are led by an entrepreneurial Managing Director who is supported by an experienced and forward thinking senior management team who are approachable and who value their talent as their greatest asset.
They are well structured with solid processes in place and they invest in the best software and tools to allow their teams to perform to their optimum.

They are looking to appoint a Bid Coordinator, Bid Writer, or Assistant Bid Manager who is keen to develop their career.
The anticipate the appointed candidate will work towards taking ownership of the bid function, and progress to Bid Manager within their preconstruction team.

You will be working in the Pre Construction Division in close liaison with the Estimators, and Construction Team.

You will be involved in tenders and bidding, as well as in marketing, social media campaigns, events etc. in a varied role that will offer something different every day.

The role also has a degree of flexibility so a candidate with a leaning to creative bid design, creative bid writing, or marketing will be considered, and the role weighted to a degree to fully utilise the prospective candidate's strengths, with training opportunities for you to develop you skills in related bid functions.

The ideal candidate will have creative writing ability, and the aptitude to progress to bid manager.

Proficiency with Adobe Suite, particularly InDesign is beneficial.

An understanding of PQQ submissions and all compliance information required to produce tender bids is prerequisite.

The ideal candidate would have also worked within the construction industry and have a stable career history and ideally a higher education qualification.
