Academic Environmental Lab
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
In need of someone skilled in math and environmental data computation to assist in completing academic lab assignments.
Key responsibilities:
-Completion of assigned projects on time,
-Accurate data computation
Ideal skills and experience:
- Quantitative analytics skills
- Background in an environmental or earth science field
- A familiarity with chemistry may also be valuable
Questions will involve but are not limited to:
-Using software
-Calculating GHG emissions from different modes of transport using emissions factors and energy efficiency figures
-Calculating net solar radiation given values in different parts of the atmosphere
-Converting between mWh, MJ, J...
-Assessment of sea-level rise and coastal inundation
There are three sections that will need to be completed by April.
$20 CAD will be paid for each one for a total of $60 CAD for the three.
