I am seeking an experienced academic researcher with expertise in social sciences to assist with a research project on gold mining in the amazon. The desired outcome of the research is an academic paper, and I would like the researcher to use a qualitative research methodology, mostly case studies of gold mining in Peru, Brazil, and Venezuela to draw conclusions on gold mining in the Colombian amazon. The researcher will need to draw conclusions from existing literature and identify and interpret any gaps in knowledge related to gold mining In the Colombian amazon, particularly related to areas previously controlled by FARC and not controlled by dissidents or other armed groups. They should have an advanced understanding of theories, literature, and concepts, as well as expertise in conducting qualitative research. I am looking for someone who can bring rigorous analysis to the project, and who can help to bridge the gap between research findings and real-world applications. The researcher should be able to create compelling arguments from their findings, making sure to back up their assertions with valid research techniques. To succeed in this role, the researcher should be adept at working with deadlines and be a strong communicator. I will provide at lear 13 sources to examine and some basic information on the topic. The research should be presented as a 15 pg double spaced paper with 15-17 sources.
